Eminem helps a kid with cancer (2009 Make a Wish foundation)

pretty nice of him, but is it just that kid he's helping? or is he like, donating to a whole charity, or what? i may have missed something?

if it's just one kid, that's a bit unfair on the other kids who have the same cancer, but get no help.

The make a wish foundation is a non-profit organization that helps kids with life-threatening medical conditions. Through this foundation they get help to do the one thing they’ve always wanted to do in their life before they die. And most of these kids don’t have much time left, so the organization helps make it happen. So I’m guessing this kid always wanted to meet Eminem. So basically they reach out to Eminem and told him about the boy, and Em came out so the kid could do the one thing he wanted to do the most before he dies.

They help kids up to 18 years old.

my brother got to meet eminem ALSO while her son was there. it was a very cool experience. i think that BOTH of the kids deserved it ALOT for all that they went through and i also think that it is amazing they let the families tag along for the ride too. I think that BOTH boys deserved it soooo much. they have went through more hell in their short 15 years of life than most ppl do in a full lifetime. it was really awesome what eminem did for all of us and i know that it has inspired my brother sooo much. he writes and records his own music so for him to meet em was definatly a dream come true and when eminem took just the boys by themselves i think it made everything worth while. and i also know that her son is a amazing beat-boxer because he showed us his skills on the way to the show. Very good time!! =) Marshall Mathers is a truely wonderful person and he has the biggest heart ever! =) I could never thank him enough for everything he did for BOTH of these boys.

took how many posters into the thread to say that lol. people are so focused on what Em did, when I hope the boy is ok as well. but that was great what Marshall did. took pictures with him, and visited with him, AND gave him tickets to the voodoo festival. shit is nice.
