^ ok I can understand that to a degree. Tech N9NE is ostracised in his own community by mainly black ppl and he is is easily one of the most underrated and underappreciated rappers going.

^ Because if you are a die hard fan of someone like Tech N9ne (who is fucking talented, even pretty close to Em himself) + you see that he gets no love + no hits + no cd sales + no general acclaim (especially within black community) you tend to get frustrated and lash out at someone who gets all those things. It's part of being a die hard fan of an artist.

^ oh yeah I totally agreed, Tech N9ne is underrated and definitely deserves some mainstream success, also I think it's because Relapse is similar to Tech N9ne's style so but really, saying 'Fuck Eminem!' won't help anyone

I'm not buying that. There's hundreds of other rappers they could boo. And Eminem isn't at a popularity peak right now and often does not get the respect he deserves from the black community. It was probably an isolated incident. Some Eminem opponents start a chant, by coincidence there happen to be many more Em opponents in the crowd, enough people join in to make it relevant-

Em is that guy though. He's the threat and all, it would be pointless to say fuck Soulja Boi or Busta Rhythmes because that fanbase knows Em is the true threat (not just in sales but as an emcee) + international popularity etc

I think it's mostly because of the similar in style between Relapse & Tech N9ne'sstyle. Just like lots of people hate Asher Roth just because he's white and sounds like Eminem
To be in their position, imagine if someone with a similar style with Em appeared and became more successful than Em, how would you feel?
