Fifth year of high school

has anyone done it? took an extra year of high school? I'm considering doing it, but just for the memories, and i'm probably not gonna pass anyway. i'm being constantly bugged about it by the annoying people in the foster home system for a diploma, and whenever I get into conversation about high school graduation with a friend i say i'm thinking about dropping out, but i'm always told to not to do that, so i kinda feel pressured kinda.

I suggest you don't drop out man. Unless you think you can get a job can provide for a family, then by all means do so. But man, if you are given a chance to study something else more interesting than high school, then go for that. You have to have something man. Unless you want shit jobs.

Skilled/ unskilled labor is just as respectable to me.

if you wanna miss out on the best four years of your life then yes..college is awesome man, you meet new people, you party all the fuckin time, you hang out, no parents are around, you have NO worries except homework...why wouldn't you want to go?

cost depends on where you go, state and community colleges tend to be cheaper than private universities, but they are less likely to give scholarship money. and homework, again it depends on the class, but if you don't put everything off til last minute, like i usually do, you usually don't get stressed. but yes there is a lot of work, but it's well worth it, imo
