Great find. :y:

I guess this clears up the rumours in the article about interscope too, about their involvement in him 'changing direction'.

Loved to hear Mr.Porter actually refer to 'Taking My Ball' as being one of the tracks that the album will specifically not be like. It was as if he understands the fans and has the same viewpoints, i.e; no more tracks like 'Taking My Ball'!!!

Good stuff.

N.B. Did anyone else notice Mr.Porter say, after stating that Dr.Dre has less production on R2 than on previous Em albums, that the production was now 'better' on R2?? Slight subconcious show of opinion on Dre's production?? Obviously he can't knock Dre, but I guess he is just pleased Em is beginning to branch out and use different producers

Propz for this, man. It got me really hyped.
Early 2010 = Jan/Feb, I think I can wait another 3 months.

Mr. Porter said that the album's production is in the 11th hour, so 1 hour left :D , and when he said it sounds like MMLP, I jizzed in my pants. :shifty:

wow, finnaly an interview that gets straight to the point, i hope Em does call into that station sometime, they got some great points over.

early early early 2010, Feb sounds about right.

Mostly serious, no goofy slim shady songs, more emotion, mr.porter as a fan compares it to the MMLP, dayum it dont get no better than that :8)

They compared Relapse to the SSLP as i remember well... so a comparison with MMLP dont say shit to me. But im getting hyped anyway, cause I guess they getting rid of the last acceptable serialkiller rape accent tracks with the refill now, and quality tracks remain for R2.

Sure, on the stage, but look at all of you now. :shifty:

Lmao, very true.

As far as hype men off stage, when Proof was alive Em had more confidence and there was no problem with him self promoting. I think now that Em was kind of like a fish out of water at first without Proof, Mr. Porter is promoting his appearances and talking him up in interviews as a way of taking that pressure off, almost in a protective way. IMO. :flower:

- He's working on Relapse 2
- Finishing a song for his album
- Did 3 songs together, and kept 1 out of the 3, maybe 2
- Taking a break for a couple of days because of the Awards
- Also working with Ludacris
- Relapse 2 coming early 2010, Album is pretty much finished
- They changed directions for the album a couple of times
- Rumor about Interscope changing the direction is not true
- Interscope doesn't do anything with EM's music, he controles everything
- Really pleased by Relapse, every song is incredible, no fillers
- This album is Eminem thinking in the right mindstate
- Original direction was going to be all Dre production
- Now it's Denaun, Just Blaze, Dre, Eminem, Alchemist production and more
- The songs remind him of the feeling of a Marshall Mathers LP
- If you're an Eminem fan you will love this album
- The Denaun and Eminem track is like bullets flying past ur head... its so many punchlines and the Eminem people have missed over the years.
- Content on the album is variety, serious content, some content that people never heard from him, very well balanced album. Probably most balanced album since the MMLP.
- A lot of punchlines, clear minded Eminem.
- Not a lot of Quaky music, no songs like The Real Slim Shady.
- Royce Da 5'9 is on the album

If there's no songs like The Real Slim Shady, then what could the first single possibly be like? I'm not expecting another name-drop fest this time around.

He said YET.. the record isn't done and everytime Em has made a single like that it's been one of the last songs. So I expect that it will have a song or two like that.

I like how Mr. Porter is talking about the record and I really think he means it but what do you expect him to say, "the record is okay, nothing great, but it's okay". Of course he's gonna say its the shit. It's the same thing eveybody always says about a record esp if they have something to do with it. I trust him though but if the record is wack he will lose all credibility in my eyes.

Im expecting a single like Beautiful but who knows. & yeah of course Mr. Porter will say its good, but hes talking about the content in detail-- how its related to MMLP, how its more emotionally driven, no songs like Without Me, Real Slim Shady, etc. ---those statements you cant really deny.
