That was the fake Royce account, and it just ended up going around. that hyped me up too though

If there's no songs like The Real Slim Shady, then what could the first single possibly be like? I'm not expecting another name-drop fest this time around.

He said YET.. the record isn't done and everytime Em has made a single like that it's been one of the last songs. So I expect that it will have a song or two like that.

I like how Mr. Porter is talking about the record and I really think he means it but what do you expect him to say, "the record is okay, nothing great, but it's okay". Of course he's gonna say its the shit. It's the same thing eveybody always says about a record esp if they have something to do with it. I trust him though but if the record is wack he will lose all credibility in my eyes.

Does anyone remember mark batson on twitter saying the 1st single on R2 is better than real slim shady? maybe thats on refill

It's coming out EARLY (Porter said early twice) 2010.
he said Interscope DIDN'T change the direction of the album, Eminem did. (Eminem is in 100% control).
Jimmy made suggestions on what to write on R2.
He said Every Song is a CLASSIC and he (Eminem) Should be very happy with it.
'Perfect Representation of where he is now'.
'It's something special'.
Original production was ALL FROM DRE.
Most of the song originally were similar to 'Taking my ball'.
More producers, other than dre,blaze and him are on it.
Reminds him of a MMLP album.
Fans can really look forward to it, 'Eminem fans will love it'.
He changed direction because he listened to other current albums.
He's diving back into music, like he did in 96'.
Porter has been motivated by Em, therefor he is starting his own solo album.

I guess this clears up the rumours in the article about interscope too, about their involvement in him 'changing direction'.

Loved to hear Mr.Porter actually refer to 'Taking My Ball' as being one of the tracks that the album will specifically not be like. It was as if he understands the fans and has the same viewpoints, i.e; no more tracks like 'Taking My Ball'!!!

N.B. Did anyone else notice Mr.Porter say, after stating that Dr.Dre has less production on R2 than on previous Em albums, that the production was now 'better' on R2?? Slight subconcious show of opinion on Dre's production?? Obviously he can't knock Dre, but I guess he is just pleased Em is beginning to branch out and use different producers

I'm very impressed with Mr Porter lately. I think he's defeinetely a good influence for Eminem at this point and will let him no about the public sentiments out there
