Truth is, I was hyped as fuck for Relapse before it released, but after it was released, I lost respect again. I rather read the lyrics online than listen to the actual songs, to be honest. And I never said The Blueprint 3 was good? I said it was a decent effort, but could have been much better executed.

You were "hyped as fuck" for Relapse, why? Was it the 5 years of awful music he'd put out prior?...Because I wasn't hyped at all. I was however pleasantly surprised when I heard the album to find he'd at least tried to rap like his old self again.

And the Blueprint 3 was not a decent effort. How could you even say that? The entire CD is almost all poppy features..it's a fucking joke. If Jay-Z hadn't sold out before that, he has now. How anyone can diss Relapse and make excuses for the Blueprint 3 is beyond me. TB3 is to Jay-Z as Encore is to Eminem.

And I can list at least ten artists better than Eminem at his prime. Ice Cube in his prime, Nas in his prime, GZA in his prime, Biggie in his prime, and many other rappers. And yes, I probably know hip hop much better than you, no arrogance. I've been listening much longer than you, without a doubt.

And here you expose your idiocy.

Could ANY of those guy listed write a song like Rock Bottom? Or Sing For The Moment?

Nope. Ice Cube, Biggie...meh. For their era, they were ok. Their shit doesn't hold up in the era of multi-syllabic rhyming (ushered in in part by Eminem). Nas, while I like him, can't hold prime-Eminem's jock.

It's like these kids hang on every single statement we make
Like they worship us, plus all the stores ship us platinum
Now how the fuck did this metamorphosis happen
From standin' on corners and porches just rappin'
To havin' a fortune, no more kissin' ass

Yes, I'm sure Nas is capable of coming up with that.

Whatever you say. If Raekwon dissed Eminem, then Raekwon would blow as well? Lmao. You probably never listened to Raekwon either, so there's no point in mentioning some "new" MC like him to you. :n:

Depends on raekwon, as you said. I've never listened to him much, as you also said...then again I never claimed to be a "HIP HOP expert" and then spewed idiocy left and right.

'
You must not like hip hop very much. Biggie > Eminem. I believe many of the general hip hop community would agree to that without a second thought. :y:

I like RAP...good rap that is.

Biggie was not better than Eminem. Anyone who thinks this simply does not understand lyricism.

I would probably put them at about even in storytelling.
The thing BIG had over Em is his gift for visualization.

For God's sake, please listen to BOTH artists before even starting to make a comparison between them.

In other words, if you listened to every single Eminem song and you want to compare him to Biggie, listen to every single Biggie song equally as much and then even think about comparing them. Don't make blind comparisons without true opinions.

I'm not saying one has to be better than one, but before you compare, actually take a listen. :y:

nice to know he has been carefully watchin Eminem & waiting for the moment to diss him again..

Em should be flattered lol

I know, if anything Cannibitch looks like a stalker. He mentions every thing em has done since he came back on the scene. I'll bet he keeps a record of em's activities on his blackboard next to his shrine of magazine cut-outs. The last time em dissed cannibitch was what Eminem Show? Now he gets on em after he just put our tracks like Underground, Stay Wide Awake, and The Warning?

Mistake...

biggie has like 2 albums, trust me ive listened to every song on those, but im not a big enough fan to find every single song by him. the majority of biggie's songs are about drugs and being ghetto, and dont get me wrong he's great but it just gets old. not as much replay value to me as eminem. just my opinion.
