Ok so for the best pop/rock artist of the year it was MJ, Eminem and T.I. Eminem bein the only person alive and not in jail did not win. MJ won even though he has not even done any new music. Anybody else think this is crazy, even tho I'm sure Em doesn't mind not winning a pop/rock award.

I was fucking surprised that Taylor Swift beat out MJ..AND Eminem. Yes, I am quite disappointed that he didn't win something but whatever.

So true! I didn't understand why they were nominated for pop/rock..MJ I get, but not 2 rap artists. It seemed like they just threw them in to fill the category.

Guys, guys. VMA's best video of this year was 3 girls dancin in front of a white background for 4 goddamn minutes.

Do you honestly believe these kinda awards make any sense?

Aren't the winners determined by fan votes? It seems like she's been in the spotlight a lot since the Kanye/VMA incident. That probably has something(not all) to do with her current popularity.
