DJ Jazzy Jeff, who is Will's best friend I'd like to say, produced Eminem's When To Stand Up, even though I believe that was before the 1999 VMAs, if you know what I mean. Eminem mentioned Will Smith in The Real Slim Shady as we all know "Will Smith don't have to cuss in his raps to sell records. Well I do, so fuck him, and fuck you too."

Will Smith had a song in his most recent album a few years back talking about Eminem, and Eminem mentioned DJ Jazzy Jeff in a short video about the DJ Hero video game, and said that if Jazzy Jeff wanted to set up his turntables, give Em time, but that he would beat him (in a fun, jokingly matter but I'm sure Eminem was serious about the last part). Enough of this aside, what do you think of the two? you think they made up? i think an Eminem ft. Will Smith collab, produced by DJ Jazzy Jeff would be incredible. everybody says will smith is a horrible rapper but he is one of the pioneers of hip hop, and still a great artist, even if he isn't a punchline rapper. what do you think of the situation?

Will Smith and Jazzy Jeff got me into hip hop as well. About 15 years ago, my older brother gave me his tape "He's the DJ, I'm the Rapper" cuz he was getting into harder hip hop. I thought will smith was so cool. after that i just started listening to straight hip hop. "Summertime" is a great song. I still rock that shit in my car in the summertime. even though hes corny, hes still a good rapper. i'd like to see a collab.

I know Nas ghost wrote for him and I think Mase did too. Nas did Getting Jiggy Wit It and Just Crusin and a couple of other songs. And it wouldn't be called ghost writer if we knew all of them.

Plus, I think Em and Will can make up and be cool cause Em is older and he's way different from what he used to be. (Will Smith was my favorite rapper and then I heard 'My Name Is' )

That is true & I agree with you their. It would be a dope collab. Do you think he had ghostwriters before he went solo though? I don't know if he did. But I hope he didn't. Regardless, they are one of my favorite hip hop acts/groups of all time, and they grew up in Philly, close to Jersey where I live, and Fresh Prince of Bel Air is one of my favorite shows too. So I hope he at least wrote the material on his and Jazz's albums before he went solo. idk though.

i think will is a very good musician, but I don't think he is a very good rapper/rhymer. jazz is a dope producer. i hope to do collaborations with him someday, and with Will as well.
