But I thought the collaboration record could have been slightly better, both production-wise and lyrically.

Their feud was dope though. The Bridge is Over. :y:

Nah, i think the production was dope, but it needed MUCH better lyrics and different SUBJECT MATTER. for an album trying to bring back hip hop, he was just trying to discourage everyone, and say he'd done everything.. But the single was :worship:

That's the major flaw of some old school rappers, I think. KRS-One and Rakim seem to enjoy the same topic about "hip hop" more than others. It's entertaining at times, but more diversity would be nice as well. :y:

But fuck... KRS has an ill flow.

Eh... DMX voice sounded a little desperate in that one.

It didn't sound like the Devil was really coming.

Never dug the Genesis intro for Illmatic much, but it's good enough. :y:

I forgot...

Album Intro from It Was Written

^ Fucking inspiring. ^

Yeah I love the intro in that album as well. I also really like the one in I Am... cause it starts with the really good Nas songs. But I didn't put them cause then I was just putting too much Nas on my list.
