I think pretty much everybody already knew Relapse isn't up to par with his previous albums (minus Encore), no need to point out the obvious. But even with Encore, at least he had on-point singles like LTS, Mockingbird, and Just Lose It is dumb but a lot catchier than WMY to pop fans. lol actually releasing singles like WMY only made him lose fans :shifty:

Boyle's target audience are old people who don't know how to mess with itunes or ipod whatever, they actually have go out and buy album to get the music, unlike hip-hop fans who like to bootleg everything  Good for her.

yeah, she didn't just surpass Eminem, she surpassed every musician that has released an album in the last year:

Eminem
Britney Spears
Beyonce
Bob Dylan
Madonna
Bruce Springteen
U2

and so on...

silly boy, susan boyle has a bigger target audience than eminem. think about that.

Target audience?! Eminem has been around for over ten years and has gained millions upon million of LOYAL fans. Just because Susan Boyle attracts a somewhat wider audience doesn't give her an edge. If that's true, any people like Kelly Clarkson or Lady Gaga would be selling 800,000 first week sales easily.

My point is that Eminem has been around for sooooo long and has LOYAL hardcore fans. Yet, his latest album, from FIVE years mind you (it's not he's releasing shit annually), was beaten by her...a virtual unknown before this year.

Also, my point was if Eminem/Interscope decided to take a different route on the album (ex. No "We Made You" or "wanna-be psycho killer theme") it would have sold a lot more. The Eminem Show was a great album, it sold well. Encore wasn't as good as it should have been, sales were okay for Eminem.

I'll tell you why this bitch, no she is so ugly to call her bitch, will make such sales.
All the youngsters like us don't have money to spend on CDs, so they download 'em.
From the other hand, if my grandma liked this bitch, she doesn't know how to download torrents :confusion: so if she wanted her CD she would have to buy it. Boyle will never have more funs than Eminem...

LOL... Good girls get gutted you sound like a lonely white kid who listens to ICP to jerk off. Why don't you go back to your parents basement, drink some Faygo, paint your nails black, put your newest Hot Topic T-shirt while humming "Same Song and Dance" and fuck off.

You got some growing up to do, son. Chill. I bet the only time you touched pussy was when you were being born.

Also, if you think I'm wrong - provide a valid argument. Mine makes perfect sense. And why are you SO sad Eminem was outsold by Susan Boyle???! You don't benefit from the sales, you ain't getting paid by Interscope. Know your roll.

Scott M wrote:chasingtime, look, susan boyle has a wider target audience. which means more people! which means MORE PEOPLE WILL BE BUYING THE ALBUM! were you too stupid to comprehend what i was trying to say? i wasn't even talking about loyalty.

realistically, eminem targets 15-20 year olds (MOSTLY!)

susan boyle targets like, 30-80 year olds, therefore a LOT more people.

therefore more sales. you dumb failure.

Really? Point me to that article where you got those target audiences? And also, back up how greater audience = greater sales. I hate Lil Wayne, but didn't he have the same audience last year yet sold more than Em? They're both mainstream poppy rap artists.

Jack Johnson appeals from everyone from college kids, children, and all adults - he isn't outselling Eminem. Apple predominately targets college kids/young adults and outsells HP and DELL (who target EVERYONE). It's about branding and loyalty.

Read a fucking Marketing book.

It's spelled role in this case.
To be honest, I don't like you very much because you state opinions like facts and insult people personally.
It's very rare that I have a genuine problem with someone on the internet, but I can make an exception for you.
I'm telling you man, you need to lighten way up.
