realistically, eminem targets 15-20 year olds (MOSTLY!)

susan boyle targets like, 30-80 year olds, therefore a LOT more people.

therefore more sales. you dumb failure.

Really? Point me to that article where you got those target audiences? And also, back up how greater audience = greater sales. I hate Lil Wayne, but didn't he have the same audience last year yet sold more than Em? They're both mainstream poppy rap artists.

Jack Johnson appeals from everyone from college kids, children, and all adults - he isn't outselling Eminem. Apple predominately targets college kids/young adults and outsells HP and DELL (who target EVERYONE). It's about branding and loyalty.

Read a fucking Marketing book.

not really.

Exactly. And don't you forget it.

Cool. I've got no problem with you then.

This is why I disagree with your stated argument: You clearly dislike Eminem's brand of horrorcore. That is why Rx isn't up to par with Em's other albums to you. But there are people who love horrorcore, and therefore love the album. But the people who like horrorcore are admittedly less in number than the people who don't. To me, that makes the album sales even MORE impressive because of how obscure its content is, and how repetitive that obscure content is. Hence, he who hates horrorcore shall hate Relapse.
Even if it's a bad Eminem album to you and many others, it's still a fantastic horrorcore album for some.

Did you like it? Cuz it was real horrorcore rap, with great production. IMO, his freakiest song on that album was Pinocchiho. That shit was wicked. Especially when I read the lyrics. :y:

In 4 months I'll have a marketing degree haha and I'm not one who said anything about marketing, just thought that was funny.

And Scotty was right about the target audience thing, you could have been nicer though scotty
