wow no rap at all for the general category, usually they nominate one just because, last year Lil Wayne and the year before Kanye, but this year it's all pop

Grammys don't mean shit, but I am anxious to hear what was nominated for "Best Hip-Hop Album".

Lots of better rap records that came out in 2009, as compared to previous years.

Raekwon obviously took it, so I'm real excited if he wins. :y:

Wow. Some of these albums should not have been chosen and some not on the list should have been chosen. Mos Def released a decent album, nothing too special though. Flo Rida doesn't deserve a spot for obvious reasons. Common's recent album was a disappointing pop-crossover. Eminem's Relapse was fucking annoying in the fact that removing the accent would have made a huge difference. Q-Tip came pretty nicely; I liked the production a lot, like his old ATCQ days.

Why isn't Raekwon and Jay-Z in there? I don't like Jay-Z's album much, but it deserves to be on there, IMO. Raekwon, without a fucking doubt, deserves to be there. Best Wu-Tang album since Supreme Clientele. :n:
