i have an inkling the best of Eminem will come on this next album, judging from what eminem has said about Relapse 2.
I hope, but I doubt it at the same time. I don't think he'll ever get better than The Eminem Show and The Marshall Mather Lp. It has nothing to do with how much he rhymes either, it's just missing something. It's missing the energy and the anger he use to have. He need fuel and right now it seems like he's rapping on fumes.

I see what you're saying but I have high hopes for R2 because Em said he went in a COMPLETELY different direction from the original R2 (which obviously was going to be all serial killer shit) and wants songs that can be enjoyed and played hundreds of times. He also mentioned that it's going to be more emotional, so hopefully we'll get that anger and "fuel" that he had in MMLP & TES. So I think R2 will definitely have substance, mixed with the lyrical capability he's showing on Refill. I think that you should at least wait until we get SOMETHING from R2 before making judgment because it seems like with R2, Em is trying to top his older stuff. Let's hope he can do it.
