Am i the only one who would like to have seen how this "album" turned out i remember getting curtain call ad my first hip hop cd and then hearing bout King Mathers and getting so hyped i almost gave up on hip hop till bout a year and a bit ago. But anyway when i think of king mathers i think of the pic below and of loads of songs like when im gone and no apologies but i get this feeling that it wud've been a really depressed album and of course if he did it and didnt admit an addiction he cud have died and we wouldnt have relapse and refill. Also If he came out with King Mathers i can imagine the tracks being a bit lackluster with little energy and a certain absence in his voice like in When im Gone but never the less it coud've been a great album about his struggles with life on the top

Again, I dont think eminem thought up king mathers....i think it was a mixtape that someone created that was really really catchy.

At that point in his life I dont think he was considering himself a king, especially after encore and a greatest hits album.

Greatest hits albums are usually a mark of the end of your career.
