Did 2003 Beefs Contribute to Eminem's Downfall?

Postby haste2492 » Dec 7th, '09, 01:23

Ok so we all know Encore was a huge fall from the grace of the Eminem Show. Drugs played a role in this. Did his many beefs start to eat away at him and bring him down? Did these beefs contribute to his greater drug use?

well if thats the case its good that he didnt let a few bitches wear him out haha. If anything I was hoping that would have fueled him to make a kick ass album but i guess not. If the album came out so poorly and half the songs were just plain old bad, why the hell did he release it?

Actually, what started the drug addiction was that he overworked himself.

He decided to film 8 Mile (where he was in every scene), write/record TES, and work on the 8 Mile soundtrack all at the same time. During this period he said he only had about 4-5 hours to get to sleep every day, which is when he first started with NyQuil. After a while the NyQuil wasn't strong enough so he started using prescriptions pills (mostly Valium) which just completely wrecked him mentally and physically.

It's 8 Mile that contributed to his downfall.
