It's got arguably the best verse (The Third) & best delivery he's had in the past 5 years. Plus it sounds like some shit off of Eminem Show/MMLP, and people were feeling nostalgic.

Elevator's love is built alot around the hook, which is decades ahead of the quality of the verses. I rate them on the same pedestal though.

fucking hell, i'm actually curious actually. i want to know why it appeals to people and why people think it's amazing. that's all. i'm not even planning on arguing with opinions.

I wasn't saying you were going to argue, but in a lot of topics about comparisons there's always a couple people trying to show one thing is better than another. You know how it is.

I enjoy them equally though, so I can't really argue for either side.

Lmfao maybe they just like it 10/10. Peoples opinions change over time. Eventually, even if it be a couple months from now they'll get bored of the song and will probably rate it to 8/10. Some people aren't very technical...As long as they like it kind of people who might have been rating it 10/10.

I think the reason for that is because he hasn't put out a good song in so long that when he finally does, people overrate it.

"Good songs" are different by taste. Hell, Stay Wide Awake was DAMN on a lyrical level, flow wise, everything was great about it...But I still like Music Box better. I didn't even bump it as much compared to the rest of Relapse.

what's the hype that's surrounding 'Music Box'? to me, it just sounds like another song off Relapse, same old shit which has already been repeated in songs like 'same song and dance', 'hello', 'medicine ball', '3am', 'stay wide awake' .. etc. what makes this song so good? people are raving on about it, saying that it's amazing.
