I highly doubt he wrote it with this huge metaphor in mind, personally i think it's just more random serial killer stuff, however listening to it from this viewpoint it does make the song much better for me.

lol I was just reminded of the line in white america talking about how his fans analyze his lyrics.
But yeah, I don't see why everyone thinks it's the BEST song he's made in years, I like it, but seeing that analogy to everything in the song definitley makes it a contender.
