Boxing fans??

Wondering if there are any fellow boxing fans on this site? And if so, who do you like and what fight's do you most want to see in the coming year?

I'm a huge Manny Pacquiao fan. I grew up a Roy Jones fan, and still root for him whenever he fights but I hope he hangs em up now, but one Saturday night a couple years ago I decided to watch a fight that happened to be a Pacquiao fight and I've been a fan since.

It looks like we're going to get to see Pacquiao-Mayweather which I'm very excited about! But a fight that's not a guarantee that I would love to see is David Haye vs either of the Klitchkos! Haye has talked a lot of trash and even wore that shirt of him holding the brothers heads as their bodies lay seperate on the ground. So I would love nothing more than to see Haye keep to his word and DESTROY either or both of them

Monzon was amazing. Seen a few of his fights. And I think I saw something somewhere where he was ranked in the top 10 or 5, can't remember, for middleweights of all time

Agreed. And my dislike for him has grown more ever since he got into promoting. He just seems to think he is better than everyone else and rumors have gone around saying Golden Boy Promotions hand pick judges to help their fighters

I unfortunately did see Jones-Green. I didn't want Roy to fight him in the first place cause I knew going up in weight even a little at 40 would be bad news. And his reflexes have diminished badly so he can't avoid the big shots anymore. He should definitely hang them up but I read that he wants a rematch with Green!

And I'm not one of the guys who thinks Floyd is overrated. I think his hand speed and reflexes are amazing. Should be a great fight between him and Pacquiao! Although I think Pacquiao pulls out the victory

Yeah I like David Haye. The heavyweight division has been down for the past few years and he is finally bringing some excitement back to it! The guy hypes up his fights by running his mouth and then usually delivers come fight night. Plus the guy can knock anyone out at any moment

Yeah I didn't know what to expect when he fought Valuev just cause that guy is so massive. But he looked good and outboxed him.
I personally think Haye will destroy Ruiz! I saw Ruiz get embarassed by Roy Jones who obviously isn't a natural heavyweight. Haye will knock him out and then go on to fight one of the Klitchkos!

Actually I heard today that Haye might skip his fight with Ruiz and fight Bernard Hopkins instead! I would love to see this fight happen. It gets my attention much more than Haye-Ruiz does. Hope they make it happen

He is my all time fave boxer, but even I want him to lose at back of my head just to see what he would say for himself. He has one hell of a mouth. I really think he will be remembered for his big gob more than his titles or skill.

It would be interesting to see how he would respond to being beat. And he could very easily be remembered for his mouth instead of his skills, unless he backs up his mouth and goes on to beat the brothers and win multiple belts.
I believe that if you back up what you talk by winning belts, you will be remembered as a champion. Ali ran his mouth a lot but backed it up and is remembered by most as the Greatese Of All Time. Tyson (for the 2nd half of his career) is remembered strictly for his outrageous rants because he didn't back up his talk in that part of his career
