Interscope

2009/2010

Out of all the artists they have signed now... Do you think they still hold Em in the highest regard?

Or is Ms. Gaga their main flagship now?

(I think they know if Em has a crazy dope single he can outsell the whole lot.)

Remember when 50 said...

You know Em made that company over a billion dollars
And when he ain't around they sayin foul shit about him

What say you?

could be, but gaga doesnt have influential music, shes just a fad. like spears and aguilera berfore her. I seriously doubt gaga well reach madonna legend status,
em is at legend status.

they know that em is gonna sell through the roof every time he drops, so they probably arent as concerned about him. whenever hes ready, he will drop. em is really lucky in that regard, most artists wouldnt have been able to wait 5 years to put out an album without much pressure from the label.

I think he's their top artist to them. He just works so slow, so we see Interscope working on everyone else.

Agreed. The only way they gunna hold him back at this point if he tries to put out records when he is older (idk like 40's I guess), that's my only thoughts on them doing anything to stop him from doing shit. Or if for some reason he isn't liked anymore, which I doubt will happen.

Thats very true... but, Gaga is fuckin' everywhere nowadays! I couldn't believe it when I saw her on BET.

Cuz of Dre?

If Dre left I think Em would leave without a doubt.

I say don't believe what 50 says.

Also, Interscope is a bunch of punks for real, I hate the way they're milking every track off Eminem's name. I bet they're holding all his unreleased tracks from SSLP/MMLP era so they can make money off them once Em die :tounge2:

It's a record label, aren't they suppose to make money off their artist's?

I said Interscope but you may as well translate that I'm talking about record labels in general :sweating:

Also, with the money he made for them, you would think they'd at least let Em has some control of his tracks, but it doesn't look like that  I read somewhere that Interscope put pressure on Shady records and in a way "make" Em have to come out and release album while he was still in unstable condition, idn if it's true but it sounds very reasonable as in every interviews Em made while promoting Relapse he always looked nervous and unready. That's why although I'm not satisfied with Relapse, I'd never bitch about it like a lot of people do

I don't think Interescope have any problem with Em, but they want him to be commercial.
Maybe right now he is not their top artist, cuz Gaga is soo popular now.
Obviously he was, cuz he was the one who made Intescope won billions
