Matter of fact, I consider 2009-Eminem lyrically and flow wise better than the younger Eminem. But younger Em had lot more to talk about. If he would just cut the accent out and stopped that serial killer shit (okay, I can deal with one song with that concept), I honestly think Relapse 2 could be his peak.

but (again) he has reasons for that fell off, it's not like he suddenly became whack or something. And right now he's still in recovering process and basically getting a lil better day by day. That's why I don't bitch about Relapse or his fell off much, it's just a process. He was making Relapse when he's at half stand status and still can rhyme like a motherfucka, that's crazy

I don't think he fell off with Relapse. He said he wanted to do what he wanted for a change and we got Relapse. Then he said he was in a different place and going in a different direction so we already know Relapse 2 will have a different sound. If he was unable to make good songs, as in lost his talent, I would say he fell off; what he's done so far has been a matter of personal choice.

^ well maybe Relapse is a step up from Encore but that's not saying much. All his first 3 albums I can play smoothly from start to finish without skipping any track, but with Relapse I only listen to like half of the songs and just a few from Encore.

I think that Em did fall off, but he is gradually getting back to form. True that this year he's shown those things, but for the most part from after 8 Mile up until this year, anything we heard was not that great. Like I said he's taking baby steps to getting back to where he was. I think Relapse 2 is the deciding factor. If R2 is equal or less than Relapse then he can never regain the respect he's lost from some people. On the contrary, if R2 is amazing then he will get back some fans that are disappointed with his latest work
