More than 3,000 votes were cast at freep.com to select the best of Eminem's catalog. His 2002 hit "Lose Yourself" was the runaway winner out of the gate, capturing nearly one-fourth of the vote. Of the 90 career songs up for consideration, just one -- the disposable 2004 track "Puke" -- failed to garner at least one vote. One takeaway from the results: Fans generally rate Em's darker, more serious material ahead of his lighter Slim Shady stuff. Just two of the latter -- "Without Me" and "The Real Slim Shady" -- cracked the top 10.

It was actually more like 4 years of dominance, then Encore happened, then he went into hiding for 5 years...Then he released a good comeback album with poorly chosen singles.
