That's the thing I always like about Em, his albums usually have a majority of original music. Every other rapper's album contains like 90% songs that are sampled. Make some original shit fuckers; no wonder some people hate rap!

samples are the foundation of good music

I don't agree. I mean, if you mean that in a music sense that styles of music and certain chord progressions and whatnot have been borrowed over the years- yes, I would agree with you.

No doubt "What The Difference" by Dre is a killer beat. But then again, he didn't write the part that was "good music". I know producing has a lot more than just adding drums, but are you telling me sampling a song is harder than writing an original one? That's like saying copying someone's homework is harder than doing it yourself.

Musical composition is an art. If you listen to some Eminem non-sampled songs, you can really appreciate the composition and originality (ex. 'Superman', 'Cleaning Out My Closet', 'Lose Yourself', '8 Mile Road').

I'm sorry, should have specified, I meant production, and Lose Yourself was sampled from train tracks, and Sing For The Moment was sampled and also Beautiful which are great songs

but hey Eminem isn't the only artist so just using him is dumb
