Hello hello, this has nothing to do with the anime..

so if you haven't heard already YOU WILL (i can promise you that..), no questions asked it will be the biggest film of the year, James Cameron has been working his ass off making this since Titanic (he made it..). Its suspected to have a 280-400 million budget which is the highest budget ever for a movie..

Release Date is December 18th of this year..

Plot Summary: Avatar is set during the 22nd century on a small moon called Pandora, which orbits a gas giant, and is inhabited by the tribal Na'vi, ten foot blue humanoids that are peaceful unless attacked. Humans cannot breathe Pandoran air, so they genetically engineer human/Na'vi hybrids known as Avatars that can be controlled via a mental link. A paralyzed Marine named Jake Sully (Sam Worthington) volunteers to exist as an Avatar on Pandora, falling in love with a Na'vi princess and becoming caught up in the conflict between her people and the human military that is consuming their world.

^So basically this movie will be about 60% computerized, the whole body of the blue people (Na'vi) are completly computerized, if you look at the detail on the feet, hands and skin in the trailer it looks fuckin amazing. The other 40% will be live action..

Woooooooooooooo one more week..

but guys im seriously telling you to GO see this thing.. IN 3D.. like a month ago there was this "avatar day" thing and it was basiclly a 17 min preview of the movie and everyone commented on the visuals (the 3d especially, they said that its literally on a whole new level..)

This is a warning shot guys.. its gonna destroy dark knight, catch close to titanic for sure.. biggest movie of the year right here and probably the best one visually FOR SURE.. i can assure you this.. MARK MY WORDS!!

Can't wait for this movie. Read a review today that said "Not since Dorothy’s Kansas farmhouse landed in “The Wizard of Oz” – 70 years ago – and the screen transformed from black-and-white to color – has there been such a magical, revelatory moment, as the emergence of the planet Pandora in James Cameron’s “Avatar” in IMAX 3-D. To call it a revolution in sci-fi imagery is an understatement."

I think the movie is gonna blow people's minds and I'm tryin to convince people to see it. However I don't think this will break the Dark Knight's record. For that matter I'm not even sure it will pass New Moon for biggest opening weekend this year. :angry:
