I guess this is career over if true, you can't be a gay rapper....it don't work
That's what they said about Eminem. 'You can't be a white rapper'
Please, Please, Please, Please, Please....just don't.
The two situations aren't even comparable in the slightest.
1.) Asher Roth is horrible at rapping anyway
2.) Even if you are a fan, his actual skills on the mic are limited
3.) He is no where near even the top 40 rappers alive
If RAKIM, or NAS, or JAY-Z or even EMINEM himself came out as "gay" then they would be finnished in hip-hop.......let alone a below par, irelevant rapper like Asher Roth!
It doesn't matter if its 1999, 2009, 2019, 2029....GAY rappers will not be tolerated in hip-hop - thats the harsh reality. IT JUST DOESN'T WORK...AND NEVER WILL
Like we'd never go on the moon.
We'd never have a black US president.
Women would never get the vote.
And as PINK said.. we'd never have white people do black music, nevermind stupidly successfully.
Saying something WILL NEVER HAPPEN, shows less probability, and more what you'd prefer maybe.
Not aimed at you or anyone, but just in general.. How can you walk in to HMV, pick up an album, and consider their sexuality in whether you buy it or not?
