Rebirth - Cancelled?

As we all know by now, Lil' Wayne's Rebirth album has leaked.

But, I just finished reading an article stating that he decided to pull the album from being physically released and instead is just going to make a whole new rock album? Anyone know if there's some truth to that?

did it really say for sure that's what is going on? i kinda skimmed over both pages and i didn't get that he isn't releasing physical copies.

Which actually would make no sense, if they were made, 1M i think it said, then why just trash em and not sell them?

Haha he had better...look I hate the leaking just as much as anyone because I mean even Wayne has spent time in the studio. But I'm pretty sure if he does more tracks this will be his Encore (even though Encore was better than any of his albums/mistapes.) If he does that....he needs to start with Drop the world and keep that and that's it...this is sad because he was stolen from but good cause Wayne won't litter our hiphop store racks, radios, and homes.

After months of delays, “Rebirth” had been scheduled for release on Feb. 1, seemingly pegged to Lil Wayne’s impending incarceration.

That release has now been canceled, but what an odd note to depart on it would have been.
