No matter how good R2 is, it won't be Eminem Show

As was thinking why I and others love the Eminem Show so much and then I realized what makes it so special. The Eminem Show was actually Eminem's show. He wrote, performed and produce almost the whole thing. It had his imprints all over and everything was wonderfull about from the rhymes to the flows to the beat. It felt really personal not only because of the subject matter, but because of the fact that he was rapping on his own beat.

Now, R2 is suppose to be a little bit serious and maybe perhaps, reminiscent of The Eminem Show. But when I hear that Just Blaze will have 3-4 songs on it and DJ Premier might have on too and Alchemist too, althought they are wonderfull producers and more exprienced than Em, I know it just won't feel the same.

So that's why even if the beats and the rhymes and the flows of R2 are better, it just won't feel as special, at least to me.

It won't be anything like the Eminem Show however much he tries, cos no album will be like another.

It's gonna be like saying SSLP and MMLP were similar, in some very general ways they were, but try telling an Eminem or Hip Hop fan they were the same, and they'll shoot you down..

I think this album could maybe the most perfect sounding of all his albums.. Maybe not the perfect album for content or controversy.. But this will be the album that we get to hear a serious Eminem on Just Blaze, Alchemist, Dre, Mr Porter and possibly Premo beats.. This will be the closest Eminem gets to having a Hip Hop sounding album.. Rather than just an Eminem sounding one. And for this reason, i think it'll be his most respected in the rap world.
