You people act like Marshall Mathers is a comic book character rather than a professional musician.

Well he has created that World around himself.

It's not because he's famous or even a rapper. There are many great rappers who don't have this kind of affiliation or interest.

It's because he's often very character-based. Even when he's showing different sides of his personality, he does it like an actor, he's created his own little World around his sides, like Tarrantino.

So yeah, Shady is very much like a comic book character. Eminem is like a stage actor and Marshall is a very interesting artist.

Of course he's back, because he is definately making music again. That doesnt mean that he's up to his old tricks again. I miss the wit, and the meaningful jabs at other celebrities, not just stupid We Made You type shit that he says now just for the fuck of it.

My order of albums to this point goes ...

1) MMLP
2) SSLP
3) Eminem Show
4) Relapse
5) Encore

Its hard to put Infinite in there, because I got into each of those albums when they actually came out, and didnt look into Infinite until like 5 yrs ago. I'm hoping that by this time next yr, Relapse 2 will be somewhere in the top half of my list. I have faith haha

i think he lost it. and i know people that work with eminem lurk this wsebsite for fact. watch the music video for purple pills. that mean needs to be back on drugs and rap about being on them and what he sees. thats what everyone likes.
i've noticed cuz im an eminem fan and i listen to his music my life is like his. its all because of the music you listen to. i dont wanna listen to a depressed eminem, why make my life hell cuz of how he feels? f that. thats why i listen to mmlp a lot cuz everything was happy he was making money and was real happy he had everything. ever since proof died he lost it and fell into depression and noticed he fell off and tried to hit the studio but hes recording at the wrong studios! he needs to go back to 54 sound and let his old producers help him out again. the album covers also affect the music, think about it. sslp matches a artist whos freestylin dirty stuff. mmlp matches an artist gettin fed of fame but getting used to the money. tes shows his life on the stage and his veiws of other things besides himself like political. he ran out of shit to to right about hes basically covered his life. maybe he should move out of gloomy ass detroit. they say alaska has the highest rate of depression cuz of lack of sun light. detroit is depressing and so is he he needs to move out to california or some shti again like he did in mmlp. oh and he needs a woman wtf hes 40 and alone! if he gets a woman his life would be better and same with the music, more love songs!

i don't think he lost it i personally like his new album relapse alot i put it up there with MMLP and TES i think its awesome i bump that shit regularly and its his most lyrical album yet

well if you keep it stuck in your head that his next album will never be as good as MMLP then no matter what he puts out it will never satisfy you and not because the album won't be good enough but because you won't let yourself see it as that

i like relapse, i say rap album of the year by far...but MMLP , hell SSLP & Eminem Show too, they are rap albums of a lifetime

really cant wait to get Relapse 2 tho, i really get this feeling he might be onto something classic
