The problem with Zeitgeist is that some of whats being said just isn't true. A lot of it is true, but a documentary with so many errors can't be taking seriously. Too bad actually, a lot of it is correct.

Doesn't matter if it's ALL true or not, it's still makes one helluva interesting story.

You're answering yourself. If the information provided in a documentary is false it isn't a good documentary. It can be interesting, but not as a documentary. As a documentary it becomes totally irrelevant.

what's Zeitgeist or whatever about

Zeitgeist is really a movie with three very different parts, even though they in some ways are connected.

Part 1 focuses on religion, and christianity epecially. The main point of this part has to do with Jesus and the mythology around him. Jesus is compared to other Gods before him and all the similarities between Jesus and a dozen different Gods.

Part 2 is really just about 9/11 and the theories around the "terrorist attck". Nothing new and it really doesn't dig that deep. If you have an interst in 9/11 and what actually happend, i would recomend "911 Ripple Effect". It is without a doubt the best 911 documentary.

Part 3 is about the financial system in America and how it is designed to break down and cause mass chaos. The last part is actually funny, because some of what's being critisized in the movie is actually what helped cause the recent economic crisis.
