Look i had 300 post and some reason it went down to 270 some. so what the hell? why did my post go away? Cause i must be on crack or something cause i hit 300 yesterday and last night i even said i finally got 300 post on one thread so did something go wrong or i dont know just tell me what happened!!

K cause i am sure cause i posted it on a thread when i did cause me and another member were close to the same number of post so i told her i hit 300 hundred cause she was ahead of me. Also it must be true cause even sarah is missing some........its not a HUGE deal i was just woundering why?

Mine haven't changed, but I did read the thread where you said you had 300 posts and I posted that it was like 273..............

Every month or so I run a post re-count which recounts everyones posts, not including those that have been moved to places where posts don't count or deleted. So if you have posted in threads that have been deleted, or posted in threads that have been moved to backstage then your post count has been corrected to show it's true amount. I'll do this weekly from now on so the change isn't major and a shock to anyone.

The only way that would of happened is perhaps a thread from backstage that you posted in was moved elsewhere and thus the posts now count. Either that or your sleep-posting and need to seek medical help.

To avoid confusing in future, I'll quickly explain why this needs doing.

If you post in entertainment for example and its a forum game or chit chat thread, then when it is moved to backstage .. the post count doesn't change, even thought it should because posts do not count in backstage. This is why I need to weekly recount posts so the true number is shown. It's not a way or lowering everyones postcount, its just one of many things that need doing to keep the forum in order.
