Mistake in "Stan"

But he actually makes quite a lot of trivial grammatical mistakes if you look. Obviously, since he's had to teach himself it, it's going to happen.

One example is in "Cum on Everybody" he says...

"I'm bored out of my gored so I TOOK a hammer..."

I'M BORED = Present tense. As in, I'm bored... Right now.

I TOOK = Past tense. As in, I was bored, yesterday.

So to say "I'm bored... So I took" doesn't make sense really lol. But I think it's more to do with his natural Detroit grammar. Every inner-city (mine included) has like... Natural slang occurances in the way they speak that is wrong grammatically but becomes the norm in where they're from.

You obviously don't rap, since you obviously don't understand how songs are written, you're 0-2 in this thread

the lines are under quotes. That means Eminem is saying that stuff LIVE. Then he is doin the action of hammering thingy. Try 2 picture the scene. U cant expect All Music Guide to have rated an album 5 Stars just like that
