You've already written more than Shakespeare by now. :shifty:

No I don't have to, I just can barely help it. I have ADHD and am obsessive and... When I write a response like that it doesn't feel like a long response as I don't take a long time writing it.

It just flows because I type exactly what I'm thinking and have to keep going until almost every thought at that moment is out lmao.

It's not a planned process, even though it may look stewed over, I'm just naturally meticulous.

I'm not new :) I was a member about a year ago or more, for a while. With a different name. Yes the Admin knows, we discussed it in private.

My old name was banned by mistake due to a personal vendetta with the old Admin. He probably did it because I'm an atheist.

I've said it before and will say it again. I just can't stand songs like this one and When I'm gone, that depressing flow I'm done with. I don't want to hear it again. Now I liked Beautiful cuz the beat was just amazing.

@EminemBase : You said Stan was watered down lyrically. Well I thought so, but over the years I've realized that there were nice scheme in it. Sometime the ending rhyme is simplistic but in the line it's complex like "Sometime I scribble addresses to sloppy when I jott em". The alliteration with the "s" is pretty cool. There's plenty of "hidden" gem in that songs.

the hidden gems are the best parts of Em's songs. i can listen to a song for the 100th time and still notice something crazy i never did before.

I prefer the vocal style of this song...but i'd rather not get it again, even with a new verse on an album i've been anticipating

on a side note...oh boy, is this EminemBase guy strange or what?

Yeah but I wasn't saying that to take away from the lyricism of "Stan". Like I said, it had to be that way.

I was complementing the lyricism because he's able to craft conversation through lyrics that flows beautifully, is entertaining, chilling... Everything you want from a great writer and yet doesn't seem contrived, forced, pompous or out of place. Ever.

It feels like conversations are happening and the rhymes are accidental. Like it's too good to be true. It's essential that conversational pieces should have that element of realism. Otherwise I don't think they resonate anywhere near as well.

You can go surreal, off-the-wall, insane, zany, WHATEVER but as long as that fundamental realism is strongly rooted, it connects. It becomes powerful and timeless. Like "Stan" and "Kim".

But I think his lyricism has reached new heights and I think on R2... He may have one or two of these 'types' of melodramas. But I think they'll be more lyrical. More complex. But still sound and feel real. He's just on another level now. Especially with his flows, wow.

I don't like this song at all. Its boring an unemotional. The beat is horrible. The "message" isn't even good. :shakehead:
