3-5 years after SSLP people were calling it a classic. The second MMLP dropped, listeners labeled it a new age classic. 1-3 years after Eminem Show fans were calling it Em's best album. It's been less than a year since Relapse/Refill dropped, but still nearly everyone says it's better than Encore.
It's been 6 years since Encore. If it's reception was going to get any better, it would've already happened.

Nail on head.
Yeah, the all round Consensus about Encore won't change... it just can't with songs like ass like that, just lose it, big weenie, first single.
Relapse on the other hand I believe is different. In a few years people will it as a experimentation album. An album in which Em was testing his emceeing/rapping abilities.

Relapse was a classic too. Just might not seem so when you are comparing it to his 3 better albums.
But relapse will always be nice to me

Same here...
I maybe one of the few people who rate Relapse with the same regard as TES.
