But rappers like Chuck D and KRS and them are easily more skilled than 2Pac in my opinion.
I didn't feel the need to say anything though.

And Rx>SSLP

Just because something is dubbed legendary by the general population doesn't mean it has to be considered great. They aren't that good. Beef and death made them far too popular imo. And Satire I'm not saying they weren't huge before that, but it certainly wasn't even close to the props they were given after death.

The fact is, AVERAGE rappers today are just as good as they were. Whether they spit bitch shit or not. If you want to say okay well their subject matter was more aggressive and gangsta.. There's plenty of rappers today that still spit hardcore shit, and are better.

Also, am I the only one who doesn't like KRS's music?

I wouldn't call any of the 4 of them legendary. If I had to pick one to be so I'd say Nas, but idk about that. Even Biggie said he thought RA the rugged man was better than he was, and most people say Big is better than Pac.. but RA isn't considered legendary by most people for some reason. Doesn't make sense.

Lol what? You make no sense.

DMX
Prodigy
Nas
Jay-Z
(if not now, then soon to be) Eminem
MOP
Onyx
Wu Tang etc.

They're all legendary status, I don't know where the hell you been hiding all these years, but its a fact that those rappers are legendary. Just because you don't think so, or know so, doesn't make you right, cause its a shared fact amongst many and that's a big ass number of many. You a fan of Budden? His got a video where he sees MOP and just can't believe it his in the same room as them. That's what you call legendary status lol. Your favourite rappers favourite rapper.

I know, and I'm not saying they're top 20 material or even great (Look back like 2 pages to see me arguing against it), but I give still give credit to them for being legendary.

Also:
you're 12 X'ed Up, I'm sure Relapse was the shit for you X'ed Up

GGGG is just the guy to love the subject matter.

I, and these people, are not.

Ok Wu-Tang I could call legendary I didn't know we were getting into group shit.. individually I wouldn't call any of them legendary. DMX? Onyx? How are these dudes legendary? That entire list is a lie. Lmao.

(Disclaimer: Not saying these people are bad rappers)

The fact is, the word legendary is useless in this conversation, because to me that's the same as saying top 10's should simply be based on what's hot, and anyone who has a list based on what's hot should lose their ability to hear music.

Isn't legendary more to do with the impact they have as opposed to the actual skill they possess?

Why not bring up Rakim, Chuck D, Big Daddy Kane KRS One, etc, the true Godfathers of hiphop, I haven't seen 1 of those mentioned on anybody's list, and each 1 of them shit on Pac in every aspect of rapping, but nobody complains about those dudes being excluded, it's always "wheres 2pac?".

And Im not a Pac hater, I like the guys music, and he is a legend, but Jesus Christ anytime I see somebody posting a top 10 without 2pac, someone always has to comment.

Read my sig :coffee:

Stop fucking bitching it's my fucking opinion you retard. The guys a legend like it or not and I have the right to be surprised when people don't put in what my opinion is the best rapper of all time. And Hip-Hop wasn't as popular as it was until Pac came. Thos rappers you mentioned are the Godfathers of Rap along Pac and Biggie. And yes you are a Pac hater :coffee:

Me a retard? Says a guy who complains about his idol not being mentioned in everybodies top 10? Exactly it's a fucking opinion, and in my opinion, and by the looks of things most people's opinion, Pac aint top 10 material, simple as. Your the one bitching here, Im pointing out the fact that you can't exclude Pac from your top 10 without somebody commenting. As you said, its an opinion, so respect other people's opinions. Not many people are interested in that "Thug Life" shit these days.
Same sword they knight you they gon' good night you with
Sh.., Thats' only half if they like you
That ain't even the half what they might do
Don't believe me, ask Michael
See Martin, see Malcolm
You see Biggie, see Pac, see success and its outcome

Exactly, and that is mostly based on popularity. Obviously you need to have a motivating factor in your music to do that, but it is still based on popularity. Just like Lil Wayne being the "best rapper alive".. That's solely based on popularity that people think he deserves that title.
