Kool G Rap, Redman, Outkast have 4 straight classics, as do De La Soul, MF DOOM has 4 straight classics too

Em is the Tyson to rap, 2Pac is Ali. Many say Ali / Pac are the greatest because they were so authoritative, overpowering and influential. 2Pac also went out on a high. It'd be like Em getting killed after The Eminem Show.
But technically speaking, in any aspect, Eminem is far and above Pac or any other great. Just like Tyson is in terms of boxing skill. Fast, slow, angry, emotional, realistic, surreal, psychopathic, storytelling - Em has mastered 1,000 styles to 50 different subject matters and created 1,000 more.
To people who say he JUST talks about his daughter / mother etc. are idiots. Out of what, about 400 songs, he's maybe a total of what... Seven? Towards them both combined. Yeah, phew, what a gigantic percentage. In comparison to how many about the cops / drugs and gangstas with 2Pac? Lmao. Eminem can do what any great can, none of them can do what he can.

In your opinion maybe but the first three by Kool G Rap aren't widely considered classics critically. Neither are Redman's first four. His first two sure. And OutKast and De La Soul are groups. I said RAPPER.
In any event, none of those albums touch the sides of The Marshall Mathers LP or The Eminem Show.

KillahBee wrote:Road to Riches, Wanted Dead or Alive, and Live and Let Die are all considered classics, outside of Eminem fans, The Eminem Show is not considered a classic, I never said Redman's first four, I said his first 3 are, if you dont consider Muddy Waters a classic well then I don't know what to say, its Reds best album.
I don't care if Outkast and De La are groups, they've both dropped 4 straight classics
And yes, track for track, Live and Let Die is better than anything Em has ever dropped. Most hiphop fans who've heard that album will tell you that, best display of emceeing ever put to wax.

Outside of Em fans? No I think not. The Eminem Show is his best album, has near perfect ratings from most critical outlets universally and is also a pick on many best 500 albums of all time lists. It's definitely a classic and better than MMLP.
As for the rest of what you said. I disagree with all of it, none of them approach the skill, artistic integrity / intrigue / originality of Eminem and many other aspects I can't be bothered to go through. To each his own. You don't think he's the GOAT, I do. End of.

KillahBee wrote:I don't give a shit what critics say, they're paid to give an opinion, not to be right. The fact is the majority of hiphop fans, outside of Eminem fans, do not consider TES to be a classic, SSLP and MMLP on the other hand.....
Every emcee I mentioned has more originality than Em, Jesus Christ you can clearly see that Em was influenced by Chino XL and Redman: they started that celebraty bashing/controversial style way before Em adopted it, G Rap on the other hand, this guy made his own sub genre of hiphop that spawned classics like Reasonable Doubt and Cuban Linx.
And to say Andre 3k doesn't possess the skill and artist integrity of Eminem is just blasphemous
Anyway we agree to disagree

And I don't give a molecule of horse shit what the fuck YOU say. I say that most hip-hop fans DO consider it a classic. What do you think you speak for the hip-hop nation all of a sudden? The general consensus is that the album is a classic.
No MC you mentioned has more originality than Eminem. And Eminem's originality doesn't come from bashing fucking celebrities. He started doing that to separate himself from being lumped in with them. To try use that as a true representation of his artistry is absurd.
I know Eminem was influenced by Redman, big fucking deal. As if you can't be better than who you were influenced by. Ricky Gervais was influenced by Christopher Guest but he's mcuh much better than him.

i'm pretty sure you're stating the obvious when you say "opinions are subjective bla bla", "you can't change people's opinions" & that those two statements more than anything make discussions go around in circles, rather than the discussion Eminem Base & KillahBee were having. just because a discussion is back-&-forth by nature, or tit-for-tat, does not mean it is going in circles. new points are being made with every post & the discussion isn't stagnant.
on more than one occasion you have confused a back-&-forth discussion for an unproductive one & locked the thread. meanwhile you post image macros devoid of any substance that add nothing @ all to the discussion.
