Whenever this topic gets brought up, I see loads of comments from a section of Em fans saying stuff like "this isn't big news", "couldnt care less" etc etc.
I find it so suprising that people aren't more excited by this.
Were talking about four of the most talented artists of the time signing to Eminem's label, and looking set to be his only great signing since Obie Trice. This is HUGE news.
I understand some Eminem fans aren't massively into hip hop as a whole (that's not an insult, I dont really care what other fans listen to) but this isn't only good for hip-hop, having such lyrical competition on his label will only improve Em and be great for his music.
Not only does it mean he'll likely be on SH's album, (we could even hear some street singles) but collabs with Royce look likely and we all know that brings the best out of Em and being on tracks with some decent artists will up Em's game, I'm sure, compared to working with Wayne and other such crap.
It could also start the revival of Shady Records. Em's work rate seems to go up when Royce is around so it could encourage Em to work harder on the label itself and try to get it to a massive place in hip-hop, which it has the potential to, as working with Eminem will be a huge incentive to sign to SR.
