_SacJB wrote:Recovery will be a disappointment. After you listen to it, your gonna say I need to listen again to like it. Your gonna go wow, that's it? seems like em made it overnight. But hey that Rihanna hook was alright! Cinderella man is too goofy. The album really doesn't have much on it. On Fire is stupid cuz it's not Ems style. Sounds kind of like Drop the bomb on Em. Boy Em sure tried to make a new style and it didn't work. Epic fail. :n: Trust me, I know this to be true. I can tell.

OK all-mighty SACJB, thanks to your great insight and opinion - I will now NOT buy a copy of Recovery - Why would I? I mean, SACJB says it's gonna be a sure disappointment... :facepalm

Seriously GTFO with this lame ass attitude - Em/interscope have obviously chosen the tracklist of a reason. As a fan of the man, have a little faith? Have he disappointed you since Relapse? (at least not me).

Em will have every verse on the album except 1/2 (which is Wayne's - and he obviously must've killed it if he's on the album, but no other rapper). Think about it, a couple of weeks ago people were bitching/worrying about that there was going to be too many features on the album - now there's ONE single rap-feature + 2 extremely popular & talented female artists singing the chorus on TWO tracks (out of 16/18), + Kobe. Also, people have been complaining lately how the 50 and D12 tracks only going to be filler tracks, well now there are none of them, happy? no, no... (Although, I suspect there might be a d12 or royce track on one of the bonus tracks)

We all know Em has matured, this album will be more serious and that he's been reaching out to several new producers - with that in mind, is it really that surprising that Em is collaborating with new type of artists? No.

As for the motive behind these collaborations - they are obviously possible single releases - which with a female hook can do VERY WELL on the radio. Also, Em will possibly broaden his fan base with collabs with artists from different genres.

For those desperate for Em collabs, you don’t have to be worried this year - Em will appear on TONS of albums this year (as confirmed by several artists). I mean, we have:
- Lil’ Wayne (Rebirth then possibly The Carter 4)
- B.o.B
- D12
- Dre (Detox)
- 50cent
- T.I.
- Slaughterhouse
- AND MORE…

if not eminem has LET ME DOWN!!!!!! Thanks a lot Eminem!!!!!!! yea you got your millions so your too good to please us!!! If it weren't for guys like me who loved my name is, you would have never made it like you are today!!!! don't forget where you came from!!!!

Reading these kinda comments makes me glad I'm not an entertainer man, Cats want this dude to stay the same person for there whole life

Are you the same exact way you were 10 years ago??..........Just a question

Dont Forget where you came from, I hate that kind of statement, Anytime somebody says that to me, I tell Em straight "I couldnt forget where Im from if I tried, thats why I work so hard not to go back there"

Feel free to not like the album, I could care less what U listen to, but Every artist grows up eventually, the only ones who dont mature are the ones who die Young..........2pac would be 40 by now, do you think he would be Running around spitting at cops screaming "Thug Life".........God I hope not

first of all i gotta say im diggin some of the track names...

but the features.. flat out wack, whether hooks or not!!! only one i can stand i rihanna!!! for a look on Kobe check Circle Gang Anthems 1 and 2!! aint diggin his voice.. singer!!

second of all i aint diggin that he got almost no rappin features.. wanted to see him go head to head with some other rappers.. but he probably gonna body the beats if he brings his a-game.. but we all miss those bangers like bitch please II and remember me!! classic shit!!

third of all we can say jack shit about the damn tracklist anyway because Stan had Dido and if a bunch of speculatin asshurtin stans saw that tracklist early you would have shitted on him.. now look what we got!!!

but personally i gotta say judgin from the list i aint feelin it... wanted real rappin features!!... we'll just wait and see how this shit turns out.. until then i'll be waitin on Cube's record to drop instead!!

lol, I like some of her stuff, but whatever.......As far as filling the album with guests, naw, thats one of the biggest problems with rap, too many guest spots, makes it look like the artist is insecure and needs other artist to generate intrest......

Only thing I would do diffrent is Exchange Wayne for Royce, or Someone from SH.....

idk if this has been said but, there are still 12 solo eminem tracks which is alright with me...and pink and rihanna are just gonna sing the chorus to the song most likely which i dont mind..and i could live with lil wayne having a verse on the album, its not a big deal

Eh, I see it diffent, when I buy an album I wanna hear primarily from that person, Go back in time, all the classics had minimal guest spots

Illmatic, One Guest
Ready To Die, One rapper and a few singers

And, since Rass Kass is in your sig, how many gest spots on Soul On Ice again?? Coolio and thats about it......

He could have done worse than choosing wayne for the album. Drake is by far a worse rapper and a complete waste of time while D12 aint much better imo.

Coolio did rock that Drama joint...........Bsides the point tho, Guest spots are good in moderation, Like Drinking......Enough makes the night better, Too much and you rap your car around a telephone poll......No reason to Over-do it........Leave that for the people who can hold down there own record, like Drakes compilation CD he's bout to pass off as a "Solo Album"
