@All Above...

Serial killing doesn't get old fast. But his fucking personal issues do.

He spent MMLP, TES and Encore digressing on them in various ways. The more he focused on personal shit, the more it dampened his creativity.

Stuff like "Buffalo Bill" was a real progression in rhyming in a fictional realm again. People fail to see what could of come out of it had he stuck to it. Forget the serial killing, he simply would of progressed into new creative realms had he stuck with forcing himself to ignore personal issues.

Plus I could listen to shit like "Stay Wide Awake" all day. And would much rather hear him endlessly find ways of chopping people to bits working wonders with the English language over monotonous growling and self-pitty.

i think well get it eventually in the form of a mixtape or some form of a shitload of unreleased material. as far as refill, i listened to drop the bomb on em for the first time in awhile today and the flow in his second verse and really the whole song is insane. that is all

& Relapse was his come back album
he made it clear he was all ready to roll onto Relapse 2

but remember how the label wanted a more "emotionally driven" album...
I think that's due to the popularity of Beautiful when it came out

but Relapse 2 would of been better than a Recovery in my view

If Refill was anything to go by, I'm glad we got Recovery rather than R2.

Relapse had way more quality that Refill.

Music Box was the only really good song on Refill, IMO. Buffalo Bill was decent but was a poor man's Stay Wide Awake.

Elevator is catchy but the chorus is the only good thing about it - rhyming is pretty average - lots of really simple rhymes:

shady/slay me/shame me/play me/daisy/crazy/AB/raise me/baby

fake it/faggots/take it/shake it/

feck it/check it

street/beep

Most of the second verse has really forced rhyming as well (mase him/Dre some). C

I have a feeling it was made before he got sober - before the Relapse sessions. I dunno though.

What you fail yo realize is there are hundreds and hundreds of songs that artists do not release. There is content from every major music artist that we will never hear, you just have to live with it. After the artist gets old they will release some "unreleased" and "never before seen/heard" content so they can continue to make money and milk the name.

Eminem is no different. I can think of a perfect example of "Hallie's Song" which was not going to be originally released but Dre was convinced it needed to be on the album. It turned out to be a real big hit, there are plenty of songs just like that that we will never hear for a long time or ever.
And everything's spinning
You're beginin' to think women
are swimming in pink linen again in the sink
Then in a couple of minutes that bottle of Guinness is finished

What's so good about Elevator? I thought and still think it's boring as fuck, including the hook, and fairly lousy lyrics.
