Rap is a genre where you can judge skill, its not even an opinion.
And when we look at the skill
Eminem>>>>>>>>>>>>>2Pac
And I like 2Pac

Yeah Em is talented at spitting a lot of rhymes per syllable but lets be honest....Is Eminem still putting out music that even comes close to matching the caliber of his earlier releases from 99-02?
We both know the answer to this....

Yeah,but 99-02 Eminem>>>any 2pac
I`ll also say that I like Recovery more then any 2Pac album.
2004-2009 Eminem is not better then 2Pac.That I`ll give you

SatansAngel wrote:Once again this all goes down to personal preference...Recovery is a good album definitely. It's easy-listening and enjoyable (for the most part) but I don't learn anything from it....
2Pac's music was educating and entertaining. He dropped a lot of knowledge in his rhymes with all of his albums. Eminem's music for the most part is only limited to his personal struggles.

Oh c`mon.Eminem`s musi is limited and 2Pac`s not?
Eminem is prolly the versatile rapper ever.
Just look at these tracks:
Brain Damage
Rock Bottom
The Real Slim Shady
Stan
The Way I Am
Superman
White America
Till I Collapse
Lose Yourself
Rain Man(I know it sucks but its different)
Evil Deeds
Stay Wide Awake
Not Afraid
Dude changes every year. And thats real skill when you can right about millions of topics.
He had inspirational, horrorcore, emotional, personal, political, funny, raw, love music. There are prolly even more but I`m in a hurry so I cant point out alot of other things but when I get back home we can continue, its fun to debate about dope rappers.I like both of them, when I got on this site like 2 years ago 2Pac was my fav rapper.

A little off topic...but I'm just wondering....Is there even any real proof that Eminem was hooked on drugs

Also, big LOL @ people who claim someone is a good rapper for 'dropping knowledge.'
I guess the encyclopedia sitting in my book shelf is a great rapper as well.
