Stans will really go to any lengths to defend eminem. Yes, he's lyrical value far surpasses that of todays commonly praised rappers. His very wit buried inside each line carry the mind into a labryinth few discover the entrance to, but the fact of the matter is that even though he is so far ahead in content. He still lacks much musically, such as production. Todays music is dying but so is eminem's fluidity. His music doesn't mean much when he uses all his best efforts over a shifty undertoned beat. He lacks the appeal of the eminem show that made him openly loved by a diverse group of fans.
Nowadays ems music doesn't have the club appeal or bass filled rhythm that dre possessed in his 2001 years.
Eminem never lost it, he merely lost the right selection of beats to flow over. Instrumentals among that of the watcher, what's the difference, blow your mind, lay low, etc would skyrocket on the charts today regaurdless of how amazing ems verse is.
I'm glad to see the world wide acceptance eminem has recurve recently, but the truth is that recovery on ems standard had much to be needed. Now I'm not just some hater, but many fans including myself occasionally tend to alienate themselves from the real objective of music. The purpose of music is the flow and the appeal of different sounds intertwined together. Eminem has lost his ablity to see what made him famous back in 2002. Eminem hasn't fallen off at all lyrically, but in fact merely lost his fluidity and rhythm that carried his message across the world into every childs ears. Recovery was very low in regaurds to how the sound was, but to each his own.
