Oh that one verse? And please,if you're going to cheer from the sidelines at least be more discreet and take parts of his post, rephrase instead of just looking like a dick ornament.

I didn't piggy back off shit

Why would I post the same thing he already did? There's no use beating a dead horse.

In other words I'm going to keep changing the subject because I have no response for what you posted.

What part of this situation don't you understand? If my teammate scores a touchdown I'm not going to pick the ball up and then run it back in. He's already scored. He already owned you, me saying the same thing would be redundunt and useless. You get dumber and dumber by the day.

Except I already responded to his post check the last page, and why should I refute yours when you haven't done the same, instead of again cheering from the sidelines like some worthless jock strap.

dead prez wrote:Alright since you seem to have skipped over my post, I'll break down a segment of the third verse.

Yo, the heavy metal king hold big shit, with spare clips

(Heavy metal king is a double entendre, metal is a slang for guns, and heavy metal basiclly means a huge guns)

You seein clips when the mac spit your top got split

(seein clipse, should be see eclipse, so notice the double sound of it.)

Layin dead with open eyes close his eyelids
Turn off his lights switch to darkness, cause deep in the abyss

(Turn off his lights, metaphor for you know killing him)

Is street life, blood on my kicks, shit on my knife
Youse the wild child, kid cold turnin men into mice

(Obviously turning men into pussies)

There's other segment but I'm not breaking down the wholeverse.

Notice the constanttheme of darkness, just like the constant theme of science in your verse.

Seein clips doesn't sound like see eclipse unless you're retarded. That's not a double entendre. What the fuck is a "heavy metal king". It has to make sense both ways for that to work. You said metal=gun and heavy metal=huge gun.....that's not wordplay....it's not even clever. The eyelid light switch bar is awesome. Turnin men into mice isn't world play. It's just an idiom. Not clever.

Also Diabolic relayed a consistent theme while using line long multies, and it made sense. Not to mention the perfect structure of the rhymes. That's pretty fuckin epic. Which isn't even unusual for him to do.

HipHopHead wrote:When Immortal Technique said "I'll leave you full a clipse like the moon blockin the sun" that sounded like full-a-clips and full-eclipse. See-e-clipse and see-in-clips clearly aren't perfect multies therefore not word play.

I really don't see why you're just brushing of that line by Prodigy and uppin that I.T. line. It's obvious he made it ambigious on purpose, most would probably think seein clips, but the see eclipse would add more credence to his constant theme of darkness in those first few bars.

Because the I.T lines makes purpose sense. It sounds the same either way. Yours doesn't. You're just reaching like a motherfucker.

Again, not a double entendre. It has two meanings but both of them need to apply to the situation for it to matter. How does rock apply to these lyrics? It doesn't.

Alright you got me there it'scompletely unrelated, not sure what to call it though. Seeing as how most people would probably consider that line a non sequiter, and just random until you understand the line and appreciate the next few bars supporting it.

It's not called anything. There's nothing there that makes you appreciate it, again, you're reaching.

It's a lot of things but it definitely isn't clever. Yes because I have a strong grasp on what it means to be clever I am qualified to judge what is and what isn't.

Oh really?

Yes.

So does the Prodigy line, and don't come at me with this reaching bullshit people do that all the time( cough Lupe cough)

I love how you just brush it off with"reaching" again.

No it doesn't

See-e-clipse
See-in-clipse

Did you forget that e and in don't sound the same.

I love how you even admitted it wasn't a double entrende. I'm not brushing it off with reaching when it is reaching.

Yes.

No

We are both deffinitely smart enough to be able to judge when something is clever. That's not clever.

And? He still makes it ambigious enough and makes it sense either way for both, as I said " see eclipse' only adds more to his constant darkness theme, 'turn offhis lights switch to darkness'.

.

I love how you even admitted it wasn't a double entrende. I'm not brushing it off with reaching when it is reaching.

Well whatever it's eiter a metaphor or worplay it definitely wasn't unintentional.

Again reason why, and I never said it was an elite line just exlained it.

None of what you said makes any sense. You make up more stuff then LilWayne4Life.

Let's pretend he did mean to makin seein clips also be see eclipse. What would be the purpose of that? Because it keeps up a theme of darkness? That's stupid. Immortal Technique's use makes sense cause either way you look at it the line makes sense. And suppose he did mean Heavy Metal King as a metaphor or w/e. What would be the point in that? It's stupid, did you ever stop to think he just called himself the Heavy Metal King to mean it in the literal form. And turn men into mice isn't clever cause that's a common phrase that people use all the time. There was a book like that.
