Person1: "This is shit, bring back 2000 Shady"
Person2: "OMG Person1 get off this site, you obviously don't like Eminem anymore"
Person3: "Person1 why don't you like this song much?"
Person1: "I don't know, I found the vocals overbearing making it not too nice to listen to, coupled with a flow I dislike, I prefer a consistent flow instead of a sporadic one jumping all over the place trying like he's trying to catch up with himself"
Person1: "OMG Person2 you're such a Stan, listen to real Hip-Hop you obviously know nothing"
Person1: "I don't like this song because it sucks, Person3 you are an idiot if you think otherwise, it's obvious why this song sucks and if you don't know why you're an idiot"
Person1: "To be honest, I don't really know what I like about the song I just can't seem to enjoy it as much as I do other songs"

What kind of warped logic is this?!
I am not gonna defend anyone because this kind of people disgust me.
But in the other hand you have the trolls...the "This is garbage lol" line, and when you try to discuss it with them they don't bring valid points to the table, such as Class....
However, i agree with pretty much everything you said.
Eminem stans take everything disrespectful and when they try to argue they fail because they're too angry at the person who has said something wrong, lol.
P.S. Being disappointed makes you even more of a fan than anyone else who likes everything Em puts out.
I still don't like it when people call him horrible, i do agree with that statement but i still give Em credit for being able to spit again, he had his moments in these last 3 years.
I still give him credit because i know that if anyone went through what Em did, wouldn't be able to get back on their feet, just sayin.

Just because you don't like his stuff post-Recovery (which really isn't of any exceptional quality) you're not a fan? That stuff is a miniscule of his overall work. It's a ridiculously small amount. If you like the majority of what he puts out sober then surely you have every right to call yourself fan.
Even if you only like his first 3 albums, you still have every right to call yourself a fan and post on this site.
I really don't get this idea that it's fine to praise everything he puts out but not criticise it? As long as you've got yourself a decent argument that makes sense, why not?
When Newcastle United got relegated and I was disgusted with their perfomances, does that mean I can't be a fan anymore? No, I just realised the team was going in the wrong direction and I was eager to see themselves put it right. I still turned up to matches, in the same way I listen to new Em songs. In both cases, I'm worried they're going to be poor, but I still hope they can be great.
(obviously I have more of an attachment to Newcastle United, than to Eminem, but you get my point)
Eminem is my favourite artist of all time. He's a genius. But, right now, his boring content, annoying punchlines, hoarse voice and repetition of subject matter is dissapointing me. Am I not a fan?
No the point is why waste your time on a fan site when you aren't a fan of the music they are puting out. But judging by you post count we are probably the only friends you have so for the first time I understand why your here.

So even though I love the first three albums I should move on from Eminem if I don't like Relapse and Recovery.
And im not being a hater. I am making a critical opinoun on the albums/songs. I don't hate Eminem. I am just not a big fan of Relapse and Recovery.
Ur probably trolling but just in case ur not

No, TES is my favorite followed by MMLP. Then, we have a tie between SSLP & Recovery. I just said that I have the biggest emotional tie with Recovery.
I will admit that as time passes, in 5 years I might think of Recovery more highly than I do today.
