On Relapse he was reacting to being gone for so long & his drug problems, only instead of talking about them like a normal person he decided to react to them by being a cross dressing serial killer with an Arabian/British/Jamaican accent. Aside from Deja Vu & Beautiful where he was the emotionalz Marshall that we all love & relate to, right guys?![]()

Then in the MMLP, he reacted to what people said about SSLP. Then on TES, he was reacting to what people said about MMLP and on Recovery, he was reacting to what people said about Relapse and reacting to what people say about his music (25 to Life). On Encore, he was reacting to prescription pills.
My point is I think he's always cared a little too much about how people perceive him and his music. I hope he comes out with some songs that look outside his own bubble on the next album.

Your not only questioning the GOAT.... your also questioning the highest selling artist in rap.

Artists talk about what's going on in their lives. If every parent an politician in America hated me with a passion, I might drop a song or two about it. Have you really run out of things to criticize Em for? THIS is all you could think of?
Um, no, I haven't run out of things to criticize him for. As long as he keeps making shitty songs with Royce Da 5'9", my ammo is unlimited.
I'm not really criticizing Eminem in this thread... just saying that I don't think he reached his creative potential. He spent too many songs over the course of MMLP/TES talking about the effect of his music on other people and the response to his music.
The albums weren't as lyrically creative as SSLP.

Amadeo wrote:Yes, he was reacting to things on SSLP, but he wasn't really reacting to opinions on his music, which was my point.
