Agree with Fast Lane and Royce murders Em on Take From Me, Above The Law and Living Proof.
LolHe def. murdered him in Take From Me.
But I think Em and Royce were pretty tied on the bonus tracks.. On Echo I like Em's verses more but on Living Proof I like Royce's.
And Above the Law.. Nah I think Em murked him there. Just the way he spits..
Where I'm At.. I love Em's verse but Banks's verse is better. More quotables on it.
Agree that Eminem had more energy in Above The Law, but I'm not all too fond of the screaming delivery.
And Where I'm At, dunno, I'll just defend Em's verse to death haha. He spits with a lot of passion and his writing is for once perfectly structured and he rides the beat smoothly.
The opening lines "There must have been a gust of wind, 'cause you change your mind everytime it blows" set the mood for the verse and open it up perfectly.
And then when he switches to the whispering tone "I loved you, with every ounce of me, you know it's true", that part gives me the fucking chills everytime.
I just feel like it's a really passionate, heartfelt verse that is really well written and delivered, even though most people seem to have marked it down as another generic relationship women-bashing song.
