Spend Some time and How Come were probably his best verses from that time frame.

I heard that on the radio a week ago and was thinking, "Why is this on the radio..."

'Cause it's a good song.
Never thought I'd hear it on a regular mainstream radio station though lol
christalgurl wrote:No Apologies is definitely in my top five Em songs. It's so amazing. If it would have been on TES instead of Drips, that would have been incredible. TES is still wonderful, though. Drips is just the weakest song, IMO. No Apologies could have made the album even better.

That song is in the spirit of "old Em" but it isn't actually from that time period. His voice is a bit different.
nandish wrote:Yes, "No Apologies", at least the first verse, was written in 2002. Eminem "freestyled" the first verse on a show on BET, around the time of The Eminem Show / 8 Mile. Here is the video ::

Somehow, I always thought 'No Apologies' was written by "old-Eminem", because around the time of The Re-Up, he was widely considered to have "fallen off" & this song was (is) pretty dope. By his delivery & voice, you can tell that it was recorded around 2004-06 though. I personally think that this is the last "old Em" song...

If you think his voice on there sounds like 2004-06, you are utterly deaf.
The odds of that having been recorded after 2002 are absolutely ZERO.

yo i think it was recorded around '04-'06, but in his earlier delivery style. It was obviously written in '02. To each his own I guess.
