i didnt mean that lol, i mean look at spain only teams that count are Real & Barca ;)

Since 2005 every Premiership title has been won by Manchester United or Chelsea. Which is the same as La Liga with Barca/Real. I'm also pretty sure that the points difference between top and bottom of the Premiership is on average greater than that of La Liga.

Lol, look at the huge differences between the barca/real and the rest, and now look at England, 4 or 5 top teams.

It's not Barca and RM's fault that they are extremely good.

4-5 top teams? Who?

Arsenal? LOOOL.

Liverpool? LOOOL.

It's just Manchester United and Chelsea... and a little Manchester City.

This. And its only Man City in the last year solely because they got bought by a multi-billionaire.

Arsenal :'( :'(
I wanted an album so rugged nobody could touch it.
Spent a million a track and went over my budget.
Now how in the fuck am I supposed to get out of debt?
I can't rap anymore, I just murdered the alphabet.

Chelsea were still a decent team. Chelsea were a team capable of getting into finals and challenging for a top 4 finish unlike Manchester City. That's a key difference.

Let's go back in history:

2000-01:
Chelsea: 6th
City: Relgated

2001-02:
Chelsea: 6th
City: Division 1 Champions

2002-03:
Chelsea: 4th
City: 9th

Then Chelsea were taken over in the summer.

The fact remains we were still a solid team before Roman took over. In contrast, before City got taken over, they weren't really a team capable of challenging for a solid finish unlike Chelsea.

It's all in the past now and we're both great teams. Just thought I'd add my two cents.

There's a huge difference between Chelsea and City's takeovers. Like we've both stated, we were a team capable of winning and challenging in competitions. City? Not so much.

Chelsea hadn't won the league for 50 years . You'd won the FA Cup once or twice. You were never challenging for the Premier League title, at any point. It was Arsenal and United and nobody else. Don't exaggerate.

You have a smaller ground and you had a smaller fan base. We were in the worst period in our history.

City were and are a bigger club.

Not once did I say we were league challengers. If you go back to my first post you'll see I stated that Chelsea was a team capable of "challenging for a top 4 finish".

With the investments...

City basically went from a top half team (generally, at best) -> challenging for all competitions.

Chelsea went from a club challenging for a top 4 finish -> challenging for all competitions. That's a huge difference.

Like I said, it's all the past now. We're now both great teams and this season will be a very interesting one. :y:

Yeah I noticed that too. I'll be topping my up SkyBet account soon anyway. I've got a matched deposit offer too so that's always nice. :y:

Of course not. But we're talking about dominance in recent years, so I don't know why you'd even make that point. Don't take it personally just because you support City lol.

Yes, it's undeniable that Chelsea were ahead of City. That's why it took us 3 years to make the jump that you made in 1 year.

My wider argument is that United have bought success for years. It's just the way football is. City and Chelsea get unfair stick.
