But what he was referring to is keeping the same rhyme scheme throughout an entire verse or for as long as possible. Renegade, Keepin it Raw, Stay Wide Awake (second verse) and Hello (first half of first verse) are all great examples

The last verse of Lose Yoursel uses the 'Salem's Lot' rhyme a lot right up to the end.

I'm sorry, I misunderstood. I thought he wanted single-syllable rhyming. You're just looking for a long ass chained multi man.

Fortunately, I'm super obsessed with these. Which means I've collected hundreds of these verses over the years. Check this out, this is the longest multi that exists as far as I know

The exact same criticism applies here.

My family has a background of people who have a way with words, and I remember way back in like 97/98, my father would show me ways that different things can rhyme, and it was basically my favorite pastime. It was corny and silly, but I like to believe that it's just genetically built into me.
In 1999 I found that there was an entire genre that was built around rhyming-
That's what attracts me to hiphop so much, it's rhyming with rhythm. If it wasn't hiphop it'd be anything else that intently focuses on rhyme structure.

The reason I explain this is because I don't understand how you can tell me I'm wrong for what it is that pulls me towards this genre. It's like racism in the sense that I don't have any control over it. I'm not blind, I can tell if it's just gibberish. But most of the time it isn't. And even if it was, it would still naturally be more appealing to me at a primal level. So I mean, you can sit here and shit on me all day for subconsciously prioritizing rhyme over everything else, but it's only going to do just that -- shit on me.
