You'd think so. But I guess they take the risk that it won't go to OT to save having to write a fourth round of specific material. Because if it doesn't go there then they have a round of material that they'll never use. I am suprised that more generic writtens weren't used when overtime was still about, though.
They've pretty much got rid of overtime in the written leagues now for that reason.
Sauras v Illmac and Sauras vs Real Deal are great examples of having amazing material prepared in case of an OT. In bigger battles, that are likely to be close, the top battlers usually are prepared for it
I remember hearing that when Cruger (UK battler) battled Illusion-Z, he had an OT prepared but it didn't go there so he just spat it to a small crowd when the cameras were off. It must feel like a waste though.
Sometimes they do promo rounds on camera as well, if they both have OT prepared (Cruger vs Jack Shitt, for eg).
