8 Realistic Expectations for Em's next album

I guess we'll never know about Relapse 2. I hope we hear it when he retires. It's what the fans want so much. Relapse overall is so underrated

I hope Em ignores this list and anything anybody is saying, from whatever circle, anywhere, and just makes something he feels is brilliant. Not something he thinks he should make or thinks people want. His music suffers the absolute most when he tires to please others.

Also, I'd hardly say Relapse got a 'pass' from fans. Most people started bashing it immediately; I was in the minority that loved it from the start and do now. Most people started saying the accents were whack and the serial-killing was boring, and then after Recovery start saying they like it because it's cooler to like it than dislike it now. The entire reason we got Recovery was because of that.

I think fewer songs is a good idea though. Not making any comment on content as I don't even want to predict it. I don't just want 'some of these tracks, some of these, some concepts', I want something totally fucking original that I can't define until I hear it. But in terms of less tracks... he often goes for overkill and with his first three it worked; but given that he's long become less sure of himself and listens to others too much, he tries to 'balance' albums now which always results in a few compromises that cluster the album (COUGH "BEAUTIFUL" COUGH "CRACK A BOTTLE") for the sake of a hit or 'balance' (art by committee. Sigh.). Here's to hoping he doesn't listen to anybody.

Relapse 2 was probably gonna end up being the darkest, most bad-ass album of all time. It sucks that Em listened to the fans and scrapped it for Recovery. I love Recovery but would have rather had Relapse 2.

I think eminems next album will be like a modern version of infinite or eminem show, I'd really love eminem doing another album in infinite - relapse style, some mix, crappy features hmm I guess there won't be any bad features if yes than it'd be a little, and also I want songs from eminem that have a happy mood and thats what c'mon let me ride song was the joke in the song was great, can't agree with bad hooks but eminem probably is gonna have some modern beats but I guess less than recovery, no id will produce some songs so the album might turn out good, yelling I love when eminem yells though I do want less yelling but it still should be enough

That's not a mindfuck, if he does what he wants and what he wants happens to be what I would like to see him do, all the better for me and my opinion.

I just don't want him to do what other people want him to do, not even me. If it happens by way of an upshot, cool enough, but if it's a forced response to appease, it's compromised.

The only problem I have with this list is Grown up Content, Fewer songs and Renegade PT 2.
Just because he is 40 now he doesn't have to rap about being 40.
Fewer songs may not be good for Em, in a time where the more music by an artist the more you will be recognized, he will be covered up by all of the wack artist there are, especially on Itunes.
I love the song Renegade, but I don't like the New Jay Z, he is a terrible artist, I only listen to his really old stuff.
