I know aye. Fuck. :(

I don't get the hate. You wanted different, you wanted Em to spazz out and go psycho.

I liked the overall sound of the song. The verses... ugh. Not so much. At all.

Second part of verse 2 was meant to be bad. Otherwise, I don't see the problem.

Where's the reference to control? I think you're making that up.

" 'bout to go ham, ya bish, shout out to Kendrick"
"Lamar, oh sorry yo, we done both set the bar low"

http://rapgenius.com/Eminem-berzerk-lyrics rap genius said so..I don't know..but Em usually do his fist single after the album is done

I realise he mentions Kendrick, but he doesn't reference his verse on Control.

I just feel that the overall sound was wasted on this one... could have went down much better and was hoping it would. Definitely going to follow MMLP2 though, that's for sure. Not getting too hyped for it.

Double entendre.....How is that too far a reach? He mentions "Lamar" and he references a line in Control.

I hope the album won't be full of rock... if that's the case I don't understand why he called it MMLP2.

I get that, though I suggest you give this a read if you're haveing concerns about it being too 'rock-ish' :y:
AbramIsaac wrote:Those of you worried about the rock influence are over reacting, I think. The Eminem Show was very heavily rock influenced, and the production on The Marshall Mathers LP also pulls from that realm. These are his prime works, and neither came out sounding like a Linkin Park album due to the rock influence. Rick tends to strip things down, not make them overbearing.

Survival isn't a reliable indication of the direction of production, because it was pumped up for the purpose of the COD game. The original song sounded very different.
