MMLP, by a large margin. But this does not mean I dislike MBDTF.
MMLP had higher highs, and the lows still are greater than or equal to the highs on MBDTF. For me, the only redeeming factor of MBDTF is the production/samples/hooks. Basically with every Kanye album, I don't pay attention to the rapping that much. He has the odd clever line and genius breakthrough, but mostly I listen just for the sonics and aesthetics. Graduation, for example, which is my favorite Kanye album, I listen to because the samples/beats/hook are mesmerizing.
Just some examples, Graduation starts off with Good Morning. The vocal samples in that are from Elton John, I do believe, and it's pleasing as fuck to my ear. His rapping is bearable, but as I said before, I don't listen to his rapping all that intensely as I would on MMLP. Because, yes, Kanye is saying stuff relevant and somewhat interesting, at times on his albums, he's rapping just to fill the space and hoping the beats carry the rest of the way. Which, lol, they do, admittedly, which is my whole point!
Eminem, however, has witty lines, clever lines, emotional lines, deep lines, you name it, on MMLP, he has 'em. It's always interesting and never grows tiring, as Kanye's rapping does. Eminem carries that album through his rapping, as a RAP album should. Kanye relies on his beats moreso than his rapping, which is all well and good, but it's a rap album afterall. You gotta be fresh and captivating, something MMLP does to near-perfection while MBDTF falls short of.
Champion, again, has a pleasing hook sample. I Wonder. Homecoming, Glory, etc. There's the odd great songs rapping-wise, like Everything I Am, but that's a rarity. It's his beats.
MBDTF, however, his rapping is really meh to me, especially compared to Graduation. "Can we get much higher?" is so fucking awesome. Which, that in itself, is what makes the album "epic", and I use that term loosely here. Again, he's relying on sonic samples to make it sound good, not his rapping.
MMLP, on the other hand, Stan, Kill You, Who Knew, I'm Back, Marshall Mathers. Whew! That's just the tip of the iceberg with the captivating songs. The rapping carries it. The beat just helps. It's fucking classic.
tl;dr - MMLP is a better overall album because Em relies on his lyrics/rapping to carry the album, whereas Kanye relies on his production to carry his RAP album.
